Your children are an integral part of Live Oak.  In one way or another, they participate in the various clubs, organizations, and activities that Live Oak has to offer.  As parents, we can get involved with Live Oak as well and show our support for these groups and activities.  Please join us at the meetings for activities your child is involved with.

Principal's Message: Veronica Diaz

Live Oak students, families, and staff,

Happy New Year! We look forward to welcoming you back on Monday, 1/6/25 - a new year and a new semester! We hope that they are filled with growth, success and endless opportunities.

The spring semester in high school is always bustling with activities. We will start the semester initiating the course registration process for the 2025-2026 school year. You are invited to our Course Information Night on Thursday, 1/9/25 at 6:00 pm in the gym to find out about our course offerings and pathways. In the next weeks, our academic counselors will meet individually with our students regarding their course requests.

Spring semester will also be busy with standardized testing: iReady, ELPAC, SBAC, CAST, AP - more information will be provided about each of them as we near the administration time period.

Rounding out the spring semester will be our recognition ceremonies, culminating in our graduation ceremony on June 6th. It is always a pleasure to recognize our students' many achievements. The dates and details of these will be shared closer to the event date.

Class of 2025 students: Welcome to your last semester of high school! This last stretch is an opportunity to finish strong and set yourself up for the next chapter of your journey. Keep pushing and stay focused. You’ve got this!
