Athletic Participation Requirements:

• Academic Eligibility

Did You Know?  Not only is a 2.0 GPA required for participation in the athletics program, but students must have completed the following minimum credits prior to the beginning of a semester to be eligible.  This information can also be found in the Student Handbook.  Unsure if your child is eligible?  Contact Athletic Director Mike Gemo at Gemom@mhusd.org 

Note: Any aspiring student-athlete working on credit recovery classes this summer must be completed with their courses by the last day of MHUSD summer school for the credits to count toward Fall sports eligibility.

Game Day Policy

The district's athletic program shall be free from discrimination and discriminatory practices prohibited by state and federal law. Any complaint alleging discrimination in the district's athletic program shall be filed in accordance with the appropriate complaint procedures. The form below is to document incidents of racial discrimination, harassment, and/or hazing that occur at high school sporting games or sporting events. Anyone who experiences, witnesses, or becomes aware of such behavior is encouraged to complete and submit this form to the school principal as soon as possible after the incident.
