Policies

Greetings Acorns,
We love having students use the library space! Please familiarize yourself with rules
and expectations while in the library

1. Food and drinks are not allowed, except for water bottles.
2.  Please push your chairs in before leaving.  If you borrow a chair from another table, please put it back before you leave. 
3. Keep your voices low while respecting others’ need for peace. This is a non-chaos zone. If you need to get some energy out, please step outside.
4. You may check out 3 books at a time for 3 weeks. If you need to renew the item, bring it to Ms. Swanner and she can add an extension.
5. You must bring your phone as collateral if you wish to borrow a loaner ChromeBook or charger. It will be returned to you when you return the borrowed items.
6. If you happen to damage a book with normal wear-and-tear, please inform Ms. Swanner.  If the book can not be repaired (i.e. water damage, food, dog chewed it up) then you will be charged for the book. We do not accept copies that you buy yourself.
7. If there is a book title that you wish to see in the library please let Ms. Swanner know!
