Student Bulletin October 20, 2017

  • Drama: only four more shows left for OUr Town. Make sure to get your tickets, seats are limited. Today the show begins at 8pm and tomorrow at 2pm.
  • Today at lunch we will announcing the winners of the underclassmen homecoming court at lunch in the quad. Be there!!
  • Next week is Cancer Awareness week:
    • Monday wear orange​ for Leukemia,
    • Tuesday wear purple​ ​for Pancreatic Cancer
    • Wednesday wear white​ for Lung Cancer
    • Thursday is grey​ for Brain Cancer
    • Friday is​ ​pink​ for Breast Cancer.
  • It’s Friday!! It’s Math Club at lunch time!! Room 302 – bring your lunch – stay for fun & popcorn!

  • Bay Cruise: those of you that are going on Bay Cruise report to the front of the school at 5pm for check in. Don’t forget to bring your ID’s and a jacket. Don’t be late or you will miss the bus.

  • Academic Certificates if you haven’t picked your academic certificate go to the ASB Office to pick up.

  • Cross Country : Congratulations to the cross country team for an outstanding BVAL regular season. The boys finished 3-4 and the girls 5-2. Congrats to Audrey Reed for running 17:54 placing 1st in final duel meet of the season. Great job Acorns! Let’s get ready for BVAL finals!

  • Girls Basketball : All girls interested in trying out for the Girls Basketball team are required to attend a mandatory meeting on Monday.

  • The following colleges will be on campus: Hawaii Pacific University, Grand Canyon University, San Jose State University, University of California San Diego, University of San Francisco, and University of California Davis check your Naviance accounts for specific dates and times and to sign up.


  • All students: the counseling team would like to remind you to check your student emails and Naviance accounts often to ensure you do not miss out on important information.
  • Seniors: FAFSA and Dream Act completion assistance is available Tuesdays and
    Thursdays after school in the counseling office.
  • Class of 2018: The time of year has arrived for College Applications!!!! The Counselors will be available in the Counseling Office every Wednesday morning from 7:30 to 8:30 to assist students with college applications. Counselors will be available every week until the application submission deadline of November 30th. If you cannot make Wednesday Mornings please see your counselor to arrange for another meeting time.
