The Live Oak Athletic Booster Club is a non-profit tax exempt 501(c)(3) organization composed of parents, faculty, alumni and members of our community.  It is our proud and honored tradition to encourage athletic achievement and competition by aiding Live Oak High School program, both academic and extracurricular.  In this time of budget cuts and elimination of programs, the Athletic Boosters organization is an integral part of the athletic program funding at Live Oak High School.  All funds raised by the Athletic Boosters benefit ALL sports at Live Oak.

The LOHS Boosters organization sponsors fundraising efforts each year with the goal of increasing revenue and bringing the athletic community together.  We fund items such as safety gear, athletic equipment, improvements to the respective playing fields, as well as scholarships for our Athlete’s continued education.  Revenue is generated by events such as the Mushroom Mardi Gras Fun Run, Football Programs, LOHS apparel sales, and Athletic Booster membership.

Membership Options

Memberships are the foundation of our fundraising efforts.  All memberships are tax deductible.  We are a non-profit tax exempt 501 (c) (3) organization.  Tax ID #77-0105863.  80% of your membership goes directly to the sport of your choice.

Membership benefits include:

  1. Free entrance to regular season home games per card
  2. 10% off of Live Oak Athletic Booster apparel (must show card)
  3. Free soda at every home football game at LO Snack Shack with purchase (must show card)
  4. Exclusive discounts at Live Oak Athletic Booster Events

Live Oak Athletic Booster revenue is generated by events such as our South Valley wine Auction, the Musthroom Mardi Gras Fun Run, LOHS apparel sales and memberships. LO Athletic Booster memberships are the foundation of our fundraising efforts: 80% of each membership goes directly to the LO sport of choice. The other 20$ goes to the Athletic Booster general fund.

Another way to earn money for a LO sport is to participate in fundraising volunteer activities. Every Volunteer hour equates to $$. At the end of each school year, half of the total Athletic Booster general fund is divided by the total participation hours to calculate an “hourly rate” (tyipcally between $10 and $15).
