‘AP COMPUTER SCIENCE A’ FIELD TRIP
The AP Computer Science A class went on a field trip to the Computer History Museum in Mountain View. Students attended a class on programming a Raspberry Pi, where they put the components together completing circuits and wrote the code to make lights flash. They also were treated to a mini VIP tour of the museum where they sat in a driverless car of the future, and saw one of the original Xerox “micro” computers with a prototype for a mouse. AP Computer Science A students learn how to code in Java in preparation for the AP Exam in May.
